Did Uzbekistan's industry grow at a record level in 10 months?

The National Statistical Committee published another analysis of the level of development of the country's industry in the first ten months of 2025. According to official data, in the period from January to October, Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth more than 865.8 trillion soums - a significant increase of 6.7% compared to the previous year.

According to calculations, the volume of industrial goods per capita averages 22.9 million soums. As of November 1, 58.6 thousand production enterprises operate in the republic - this indicates the ever-expanding competition and opportunities in the industry.

In terms of regions, the leadership traditionally belongs to the capital: the city of Tashkent was noted as the leading region with a production indicator of 167.6 trillion soums. It is followed by Navoi region (155.1 trillion soums) and Tashkent region (132.4 trillion soums) with high industrial potential.

In the remaining regions, industrial volumes were formed as follows:

- Andijan region - 83.7 trillion soums.

- Samarkand region - 45.8 trillion soums.

- Fergana region - 44.9 trillion soums.

- Bukhara region - 39.4 trillion soums.

- Kashkadarya region - 37.2 trillion soums.

- Namangan region - 30.9 trillion soums.

- Jizzakh region - 29 trillion soums.

- Khorezm region - 27.1 trillion soums.

- Republic of Karakalpakstan - 22.5 trillion soums

- Syrdarya region - 20.6 trillion soums.

- Surkhandarya region - 14.4 trillion soums.

At the same time, there are major plans for further diversification of industrial sectors in the country. In particular, it was announced that the possibility of launching aircraft production in Uzbekistan is being studied recently. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Jasurbek Choriyev.

If new industrial projects are implemented, the country's industry is expected to reach even higher levels in the coming years.
