
A new head has been appointed to the Tashkent State University of Law - Bakhshillo Khodjaev officially assumed the post of rector of the university. This decision is noteworthy because it signals the beginning of important changes in the legal field.
Born in 1982 in Bukhara, Khodzhaev is a lawyer with higher education and a 2nd degree Counselor of Justice. He graduated from TSUL with a bachelor's degree in 2004, a master's degree in 2006, and a doctoral degree from Nagoya University in 2018, gaining in-depth knowledge and international experience in his field.
Beginning his career as an assistant lawyer at the law firm "Mezon Private Service," Khodzhaev later worked at the university as vice-rector for scientific work and innovation. Since 2022, he has actively participated in the processes of strengthening and renewing the scientific environment at the university.
His appointment as rector is expected to further develop innovative education, scientific research, and international cooperation at TSUL.
