According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the winter holiday dates for the current academic year have been set for students and pupils of all higher, secondary special and vocational education institutions in the country — state, non-state, foreign educational institutions and academic lyceums.
According to the official document, the winter holiday will begin on December 28, 2025 and continue until January 10, 2026 (inclusive).
This decision serves to clearly determine the established mid-year break period for young people participating in the educational process, as well as to ensure the effective organization of the holiday period.
As noted by the ministry, educational institutions will plan the educational process based on this period and create the necessary conditions for safe and meaningful rest for students and pupils during the holiday.
