New high-pressure gas well discovered in Muynak

A high-pressure, industrial-grade natural gas flow was recorded from exploration well No. 2, located in the Muynak district of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

It turned out that experienced local specialists of Uzbekneftegaz Drilling Operations LLC, part of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, drilled the well for 90 days using modern foreign technologies. Currently, 2.4 million cubic meters of natural gas are extracted daily from this project point, which has a total depth of 5,000 meters.

Currently, round-the-clock drilling operations are continuing at other promising deep wells in the region. Experts say that high-pressure gas flow from these wells may also be obtained by the end of the year.
