Starting January 1, 2026, conducting entrepreneurial activities in Uzbekistan will become significantly easier. Under the new system, the "Starting a Business in 15 Minutes" principle will be implemented for the state registration of business entities. This initiative is regarded as an important step aimed at saving time and resources for entrepreneurs.
The key feature of the new system is the provision of composite services, meaning several services will be offered simultaneously. Entrepreneurs will no longer need to go through multiple separate steps during the state registration process; instead, they will receive all necessary services within a single streamlined process.
According to the legislation, starting from 2026, the following services will be provided in parallel during business registration: obtaining a digital signature key, submitting applications to open and activate bank accounts, applying for licenses or permits for certain types of activities, formalizing real estate lease agreements, registering as a VAT payer, purchasing online cash registers and registering them with tax authorities, as well as appointing a legal entity's head and registering them in the "Unified National Labor System."
Importantly, entrepreneurs are not required to use all of these services. Each service is optional, and payment will only be made for the selected services. Another convenient feature is that all payments can be made using a single QR code.
Experts believe that this new initiative will further improve the business environment, encourage new entrepreneurs, and eliminate the "hours-long queues" era. In short, the new system will make entering entrepreneurship fast, convenient, and modern.
