Tashkent records its hottest year in 170 years

Against the backdrop of the hot weather in 2025, the author of the Uzb_Meteo channel mentioned unusual statistics for the capital: last year became the hottest for Tashkent in the past 170 years. This was reported by upl.uzreports.

According to the expert, there was not a single month during the year when temperatures were below normal. As a result, Tashkent’s average annual air temperature reached 17.3°C, setting a new historical maximum.

Previously, the record belonged to 2023—when the average annual temperature rose to 17.0°C. The coldest year was 1920, when the average annual figure was recorded at around 11.8°C.
