In "Uzbekistan-2030," public services will be instant and digital

The draft Strategy "Uzbekistan-2030" defines a set of measures aimed at organizing more convenient, fast, and understandable public services for the population, fully digitalizing all processes, and drastically reducing excessive paperwork.

The project notes that within the framework of paragraph 370, the main goal is to achieve Uzbekistan's entry into the Top 30 in the UN e-Government Development Ranking. Also, in accordance with paragraph 371, it is planned to increase the share of public services provided electronically to more than 90 percent.

In order to work with citizens' appeals and strengthen control mechanisms, paragraph 372 provides for the 100% implementation of the "People's Control" portal in each region. In addition, according to paragraph 373, the task is set to increase the share of services provided exclusively through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services to 50 percent.

New goals are also being set for the provision of public services in a modern format. In particular, in paragraph 374, it is planned to increase the number of public services provided in a composite and proactive manner to at least 400. Simply put, this means strengthening a system where citizens don't run around individually, and services are resolved "on their own."

In the direction of digitalization, according to paragraph 375, the task has been set to digitize 25 million out of 40 million documents. At the same time, within the framework of paragraph 376, it is planned to increase the number of services connected to the single platform of the "Digital Government" system to 700, and to ensure the digital form of documents and relations.

To further improve the quality and efficiency of services, Clause 377 provides for a 50% reduction in the timeframe for the provision of more than 100 public services. In addition, Clause 378 provides for the simplification of procedures for the provision of about 500 public services. That is, it is expected that some stages that get on your nerves with "paper-paper" will be reduced.

Also, in accordance with paragraph 379, it is planned to transfer 40 percent of public services to the private sector. Regarding the expansion of archival services, paragraph 380 sets the task of increasing the number of public services in the field of archives to 14.

In short, if these project plans are implemented, it is expected that public services will go beyond the "turn-seal-xerocopy" era and become a truly fast, convenient, and digital system.
