According to Uzgidromet, on January 17 the weather in most regions of Uzbekistan will be changeable, with rain and snow expected in many areas and fog possible in some places.
In Tashkent city, the weather will be unstable, with occasional rain. Fog may occur at times. An easterly wind will blow at 3–8 m/s. Air temperatures at night and during the day will be around +1…+3°C.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, unsettled weather is also expected. Snow and fog may occur in some areas. Easterly winds will reach 7–12 m/s. Night temperatures will drop to −2…−7°C, while daytime temperatures will range from −2 to +3°C.
In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, snow is expected in some places, and fog remains possible. Nighttime temperatures will be 0…−5°C, and daytime temperatures 0…+5°C.
In the Tashkent region, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand, rain and snow are possible, with fog in some locations. Temperatures at night and during the day will be around 0…+5°C.
In the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, unstable weather will continue, with possible rain and snow. Nighttime temperatures will be −2…+3°C, and daytime temperatures +2…+7°C.
In the Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, rain and snow may occur in some places. An easterly wind will blow at 5–10 m/s. Night temperatures will be −2…+3°C, and daytime temperatures 0…+5°C.
In mountainous areas, snow and fog may occur from time to time. Temperatures at night and during the day will remain around 0…−5°C.
