Over the year, the poverty rate decreased from 8.9% to 5.8%

Over the past year, as a result of measures aimed at ensuring employment and increasing incomes, 366 thousand families have been lifted out of poverty. This indicates a decrease in the poverty rate in the country from 8.9% to 5.8%. The unemployment rate also decreased from 5.5% to 4.8%.
As the head of our state noted, these results are the result of the ongoing reforms and testify to the strengthening of mutual trust between the state and the people.
At the same time, there are still many tasks that need to be accomplished. Therefore, 2026 was declared the "Year of Mahalla Development and Enhancement of Society," and large-scale plans were outlined to improve the infrastructure of mahallas.
It is noted that the mahalla is an important link that clearly shows where the reforms have been effective or where they have stopped. If unemployed citizens or poor families remain in the mahalla, then the reforms have not fully reached there. Also, if the "Big Seven" or banking system is unable to solve people's problems, this indicates that the system is not working in this place.
The head of state emphasized that no minister, governor, or banker has the right to use the "Group of Seven" as an excuse. According to him, there are sufficient opportunities, funds, decisions, and programs. What is missing is responsibility and personal accountability.
