21 thousand projects were submitted for the first season of “Open budget”

Today, from February 21, the project submission stage for the first season of the 2026 “Tashabbusli budget” has officially come to an end. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
It is said that this process started on February 1 and continued until February 20. During this period, citizens submitted a total of 21,049 project proposals.
Now the next step of the process begins — the selection of projects. This stage is set to run from February 21 to March 7. During the selection, the compliance of the submitted initiatives with the established criteria and requirements, as well as the feasibility of their implementation, will be studied carefully.
Projects that successfully pass the selection will be moved to the next stage — the voting process. According to the voting results, the most supported initiatives will be financed and implemented in practice.
The “Tashabbusli budget” program is significant because it is aimed at strengthening public activity, solving regional problems with the direct participation of citizens, and ensuring openness and transparency in the use of budget funds.
