President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Hazrati Khizr complex in Samarkand and paid tribute at the mausoleum of Uzbekistan’s First President Islam Karimov. During the visit, verses from the Quran were recited and prayers were offered.
It was noted that remembering great ancestors and those who have passed away, as well as honoring their good deeds, is one of the noble values deeply rooted in the nation’s traditions, especially during these days.
At the end of the visit, prayers were said for peace in the country and the well-being of the people.
