From April 14 to 17 of this year, moist and cool air masses are expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan. This was announced by the Republican Hydrometeorological Center (“Uzgidromet”) in an urgent warning.
It is reported that on April 14, rain is expected in the northwestern regions of the country. On April 15–17, precipitation will continue in most regions of the republic, and in some areas heavy rain is possible. Thunderstorms may also occur in some places.
According to information, in the mountainous regions of the country, rain is expected to turn into snow.
In addition, in some regions of Uzbekistan, wind speed may increase to 15–20 m/s, and in some places up to 25–28 m/s. On April 14–15, dust storms may also occur in some areas.
From April 15–17, daytime air temperature will gradually decrease to 13–16 degrees.
Experts recommend paying attention to weather changes during these days and being careful, especially when traveling to mountainous areas.
