Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is heading to Fergana region on a working visit. The Presidential press service officially announced this.
It was reported that during the two-day trip, the head of state will closely familiarize himself with the large-scale construction work being carried out in the regions. In particular, important projects in industry, agriculture, transport infrastructure, tourism and other strategic sectors will be reviewed.
It is also planned to hold a meeting during the visit to discuss priority tasks aimed at the socio-economic development of Fergana region. It will consider initiatives to increase the region’s economic potential, create new jobs and improve the well-being of the population.
It should be recalled that earlier the head of state held a videoconference meeting dedicated to the results of the first quarter on ensuring economic growth in the regions and sectors, and outlined the main tasks to be implemented by the end of the year.
In short, this trip is not just a routine inspection — it is new decisions, new momentum. For Fergana, it is an opportunity: time to move to the “next level.”
