Mirziyoyev reviews opportunities at new IT Park in Fergana

Today, April 28, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a modern IT Park complex established in the city of Fergana to review the conditions and opportunities created there. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
It was noted that this complex was built in a short period based on instructions given by the President during his visit to the region in August 2024. A total of 150 billion soums in budget funds were allocated to the project, resulting in the establishment of a modern and multifunctional IT center.
The complex has the capacity to accommodate up to 200 users simultaneously and creates opportunities to train more than 3,000 young people annually, involve them in practical projects, and provide information technology services.

The center features comfortable coworking areas for freelancers and developers, as well as fully equipped modern offices for resident companies. Most importantly, education, production, and service processes have been integrated here. This serves to help young people become self-employed, master modern professions, and earn a stable income.
It was noted that the volume of IT services in the Fergana region has increased significantly in recent years. Specifically, the sector has expanded fourfold, with export volumes exceeding 23 million dollars. Currently, the number of “IT-Park” residents in the region has reached 139, and in 2025, services worth 22.7 million dollars were exported.

Even more ambitious goals have been set within the framework of the new IT Park. In particular, there are plans to increase the number of residents to 200, create 700 new jobs, sharply increase the volume of services, and bring export indicators to 30 million dollars.
In the future, a separate center specializing in artificial intelligence technologies is intended to be established on the basis of this complex. Additionally, innovative projects aimed at digitalizing management systems, as well as modern training courses in programming, graphic design, computer literacy, and the English language, will be launched.

Furthermore, there are plans to support young entrepreneurs by introducing venture financing, grant programs, and acceleration projects for startups.
During the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a sincere dialogue with IT Park residents and young people working in the field. The promising ideas and initiatives put forward by them were highly praised, and it was emphasized that they would receive full support.
