Uzbekistan and Czechia sign agreement to expand cooperation

High-level negotiations have concluded productively in Tashkent. During the meeting, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš signed an important document aimed at further strengthening relations between the two states.

The parties adopted a joint declaration on promoting expanded cooperation, agreeing to elevate the strategic partnership to a new level. This document creates a solid legal foundation for deepening ties and implementing new projects between the two countries.

At the same time, bilateral agreements covering several key sectors were signed. In particular, agreements were reached in areas such as economy and industry, scientific and technological cooperation, diplomatic personnel training, and the joint design and establishment of a metrology laboratory.

Scientific and innovative cooperation in the field of metrology and joint programs in geology are of particular importance. These projects will serve to increase the technological potential of both countries and implement new scientific developments.

Furthermore, a significant agreement was signed in the transport sector, establishing cooperation for the supply of electric trains. This is expected to contribute to the modernization of the country's infrastructure.

In short, the results of these negotiations have brought relations between the two states to a qualitatively new stage. The signed documents will serve as a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.
