Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for May 9–11.
It is reported that on May 9, dry weather will persist in most parts of the country. However, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in the second half of the day in some areas of the Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions. Daytime temperatures will be around 28–33 degrees.
On May 10, rain is expected across most of the republic, with heavy precipitation and thunderstorms in some areas. The weather will cool down slightly, with daytime temperatures dropping to 20–25 degrees.
On May 11, there is a chance of short-term rain in the Tashkent region, the Fergana Valley, and some central regions. No precipitation is expected in other areas, and temperatures will rise slightly.
According to forecasts, wind speeds over the weekend may increase to 15–20 m/s in some areas, and occasionally up to 23–25 m/s. Dust storms are expected in some regions.
In foothill and mountainous areas, intermittent rain is expected, which may be heavy on May 10–11, with a possibility of flash floods.
In Tashkent, no precipitation is expected on May 9, with temperatures around 30–32 degrees. On May 10–11, rain and thunderstorms are expected, with temperatures dropping to 20–25 degrees.
