Tax revenues in Uzbekistan have risen sharply: record figures

Since the beginning of 2026, revenues from major tax types in Uzbekistan have increased significantly. This was reported by the press service of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.

According to the results of the first quarter, total tax revenues amounted to 63.6 trillion soums, an increase of 24 percent compared to the same period last year. The largest share came from corporate income tax, which reached 20.4 trillion soums, up 43 percent in one year.

Also, value-added tax (VAT) revenues amounted to 12.5 trillion soums, an increase of 27 percent. Personal income tax reached 10.7 trillion soums, recording a 15 percent growth.

Tax revenues for the use of subsoil resources amounted to 6 trillion soums, an increase of 17 percent. Excise tax was 4.6 trillion soums (+1%), and non-tax revenues were 3.3 trillion soums (+1%).

Revenues from land tax amounted to 2.8 trillion soums, an increase of 34 percent. Property tax was 2.3 trillion soums (+11%), and turnover tax was 0.6 trillion soums (+12%). Tax revenues for the use of water resources reached 0.4 trillion soums, showing the highest growth of 82 percent.

Officials noted that these statistical indicators do not include revenues related to the rise in global market prices for gold and other precious minerals.
