Online vehicle license plate replacement launched

Uzbekistan has introduced a new online feature on the "my.gov.uz" portal allowing vehicle owners to apply for the replacement of damaged license plates. To use the service, users must submit an electronic application along with a clear photo of the damaged plate and pay the required fee via a system-generated invoice. Once payment is complete, owners must visit a regional office to exchange their old plates for new ones. The cost for a full set of plates is 1.854 million soums, while replacing a single plate costs 927 thousand soums.
The Single Interactive State Services Portal "my.gov.uz" has introduced a new feature allowing vehicle owners in Uzbekistan to apply for the replacement of damaged state license plates online. Reports Uzdaily.uz.
To use the service, users must authorize themselves on the portal and fill out an electronic form. The application process requires attaching a clear photograph of the damaged plate to ensure faster processing by the authorized body.
Once the application is reviewed, the system sends an invoice for payment. After paying the fee, the applicant must visit the designated territorial department to surrender the old license plate and receive the new one.
The cost for a full set of plates (front and rear) is 4.5 base calculating values, which equals 1.854 million soums. Replacing a single plate costs 2.25 base calculating values, or 927 thousand soums.
