How much was the ministry building in Tashkent sold for at auction?

Hamkorbank, located in Tashkent, purchased the building of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services following repeated auctions held on the "E-auksion" platform.

In the auction held on May 15, the bank was declared the winner with a bid of 196.6 billion soums for the property. This amount is nearly 5 percent higher than the starting price of 187.23 billion soums.

The bidding process concluded very quickly, with the winning bid placed just 10 seconds after the auction began. The entire trading process lasted slightly over 10 minutes.

According to reports, the 7-story administrative building is located in the Shaykhontohur district, near the intersection of Abdulla Qodiriy and Abay streets, in the "Orda" area.

The building is notable for its strategic location, adjacent to the Turonbank office and the Tashkent City Tax Department. The total land area does not exceed 0.5 hectares, while the buildings and structures cover 11.7 thousand square meters.

Furthermore, the facility is fully connected to water, gas, electricity, and sewage systems, which is noted as an important factor increasing its commercial value.
