Ramzan Kadyrov's daughter resigns from government position

Aishat Kadyrova, the eldest daughter of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, announced on her Instagram page that she was leaving the post of deputy chairman of the republic's government.

She noted that “this position is more suitable for a strong man.”

“After much thought, I decided to leave the post of deputy chairman of the government of the Chechen Republic. This work was an important experience for me, the social sphere is of great importance in the development of our republic,” said Aishat Kadyrova.

The daughter of the Chechen president added that she plans to “implement business projects and work for the well-being of the republic.”

I am sure that through this activity I can bring more profit than from politics, she says.
Aishat also said that she would return to her work in the fashion industry.

Kadyrova took up the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the republic in October 2023, before which she was the Minister of Culture of Chechnya. Her father, Ramzan Kadyrov, has not yet commented on the girl's decision to resign.

In June 2022, Aishat Kadyrova was awarded the Order of the First President of Chechnya, and in September 2023, she was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, second degree, for "Development of Culture and Art of the Fatherland" and "many years of fruitful creative activity."
