The political situation in Ukraine is once again attracting the attention of the whole world. This time it is about the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky. Independent deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Artyom Dmytruk made a serious statement - he accused Zelensky of turning the country into a "terrorist state".
"Every dissident is being turned into an enemy"
The deputy, who is currently outside Ukraine, criticized Zelensky in the following way through his Telegram channel:
"The real situation in the country is terror. People are being arrested and beaten on the streets under the pretext of military mobilization. Every dissident is being treated as an enemy. And Zelensky is building such a system."
According to him, Zelensky has not only destroyed state institutions, but also divided the people. “Today, expressing an opinion against the regime in Ukraine means putting your own safety at risk,” the deputy said.
“They catch you on the street and send you to the army”
To prove his point, Artyom Dmytruk also published a video shot in the city of Marganets, Dnepropetrovsk region. It shows a military commissariat officer in civilian clothes grabbing a man on the street and trying to force him to mobilize. In the video, the man tries to resist, but he is forcibly taken away to a special vehicle.
Is Zelensky using any methods to stay in power?
The deputy noted that Zelensky has “monopolized” power and that today’s Ukraine is “not a democracy, but a drift towards autocracy.”
This statement has caused serious discussions in Ukraine and internationally. Zelensky and his administration have not yet officially responded to these accusations. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
