Trump threatened Russia with an "economic war"

US President Donald Trump stated that if the problems between Russia and Ukraine are not resolved, he is ready to start an “economic war” against Moscow.

At a meeting in the White House, he answered journalists’ questions on this matter. According to Trump, he will not allow a Third World War.

“I am in favor of stopping this process. It will not turn into a world war, but it will be an economic war. This could turn into a very difficult process, bringing serious negative consequences for Russia. But I do not want such a development,” the president said.
