A new 20-point plan announced by the White House proposes establishing temporary external administration in the Gaza Strip. This management is planned to be carried out in cooperation with international participants and Arab states.
According to US President Donald Trump's plan, military operations should be halted and Israeli troops withdrawn from Gaza in exchange for the release of hostages. At the same time, the release period for the hostages is set within 72 hours after the agreement.
The plan also provides for the creation of a special economic zone in Gaza and the creation of preferential conditions for participating states. The issue of amnesty for the choice of a peaceful life among Hamas members is also included.
The White House emphasized that the proposal firmly stated that Israel would not annex or completely occupy the Gaza Strip. The goal of the plan is to ensure stability in the region and freeze the conflict.
