A migrant vehicle attempting to flee crashed into a lake, killing six people

A road accident near the city of Burgas on the southern coast of Bulgaria claimed the lives of six illegal immigrants. This was reported by Bulgarian National Radio.

According to reports, border police pursued a car carrying illegal migrants from Kiten city for 40 kilometers. The driver, attempting to enter Burgas, broke through the road barrier, but the car overturned and fell into a nearby lake.

Six people died at the scene, and three were hospitalized in serious condition. The Romanian citizen who drove the car survived and is currently under police custody.

An investigation into the incident has begun, the full details of the incident are not yet known.
