It was reported that the relationship between the couple had been strained for a long time, and they eventually filed for divorce. According to the woman, her husband disrespected her, did not provide for her financially, and violated his family commitment by liking pictures of strangers on social networks.
The court reviewed these claims, and after the woman's statements were confirmed, her husband was found guilty of the divorce. According to the decision, he will pay 500,000 lira (≈142 million 670 thousand soums) in moral damages to his ex-wife and allocate 5,000 lira monthly in alimony.
The report notes that this decision of the Supreme Court was noted as a precedent - therefore, in future similar rulings, this decision can be relied upon.
