Russia has carried out major air strikes on Ukraine. Early in the morning, the railway hub in the town of Fastiv was targeted, the main station was destroyed, and equipment was damaged. Zelensky called the attack meaningless from a military perspective.
The strikes damaged energy facilities in eight regions and caused power outages in some areas. The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant temporarily lost all external power sources.
In Florida, US and Ukrainian representatives continue negotiations. The sides are discussing security arrangements and measures to maintain peace.
Ukraine and its European allies are discussing security guarantees and territorial issues regarding Russia. Currently, Russia controls about one-fifth of Ukraine’s territory. Peace depends on Russia’s willingness to reduce tensions.
