Trump Criticizes Ukraine-Russia Crisis and Blames Biden

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, in an extensive interview with Politico, addressed the Ukraine-Russia war and once again drew significant attention with his sharp remarks. His comments, particularly his views on Zelensky, Biden, and the overarching consequences of the war, sparked extensive public debate.
According to Trump, Ukraine’s leadership needs to assess the situation realistically and accept the current reality. He emphasized that Zelensky should seek practical solutions in what he described as a "losing battle."
“Zelensky must open his eyes to reality because Ukraine is losing on the ground. Look at the maps – they have lost vast territories. This cannot be called a victory,” Trump stated.
In his opinion, Russia currently holds a stronger position for negotiations. Trump attributed this to geopolitical weight, resources, and overall advantages.
“Russia has always been a significant power and has the upper hand in this regard. I admire the Ukrainian military’s bravery, but at a certain point, the factor of strength becomes decisive,” he added.
Trump dismissed any responsibility for the war, labeling it as “Biden’s war.” He expressed his greatest criticism of the war as the untimely loss of young lives.
At the same time, Trump described Zelensky as a “skilled negotiator” and characterized his ability to secure significant funds from the Biden administration as “mastery in the style of P.T. Barnum.”
“Zelensky persuaded Biden to allocate $350 billion. But look at the result: 25 percent of his country has been lost,” Trump said.
Additionally, he blamed Obama for the loss of Crimea and stressed the necessity of holding elections in Ukraine.
“Ukraine talks about democracy yet has not held elections for quite some time. The people must make a choice. If I had been president, this war wouldn’t have started, and it certainly wouldn’t have lasted four years,” Trump remarked.
He further pointed out that considering he is not currently president, the likelihood of “World War III” in today’s scenario is significantly higher.
