A tragic incident occurred today, December 14th, at the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. Two unidentified armed individuals opened fire on people and attacked a local Jewish community celebrating the Hanuka holiday. This was reported by local media.
According to local ABC, at least 12 people were killed and 18 others injured as a result of this potential terrorist attack targeting the Jewish community. Currently, police officers are busy neutralizing a homemade explosive device found on the beach.
According to witnesses, the two attackers were dressed in black and, standing on a small pedestrian bridge, opened fire on the crowd. Videos depicting these attackers are also circulating online.
Police officials stated that two suspects were involved in the incident - one died from a gunshot wound, and the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Law enforcement agencies are continuing to investigate whether a third party was involved in the attack.
