Putin: If Ukraine does not want peace, Russia will achieve its goals by force

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that if Ukraine does not want peace, Moscow will achieve all its goals by force. The statement came after large-scale Russian drone and missile attacks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the attacks show Russia’s intention to continue the war.

Zelenskiy will meet U.S. President Donald Trump in Florida on Sunday to discuss a plan to end the war. The talks are held in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion.

According to the Kremlin, Russian forces have captured several towns in Donetsk and areas in Zaporizhzhia. Ukraine’s Armed Forces rejected these claims, saying defensive operations continue and the situation remains difficult.

At least two people were killed and dozens injured in Russian strikes on Saturday. Rapid front-line changes and restricted information make it difficult to independently verify battlefield conditions.
