On February 10 of this year, in the city of Iğdır, Turkey, a 23-year-old man stabbed a 16-year-old girl he encountered on the street. DHA reported this.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Cumhuriyet Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood. While walking along the street, Y.B. stopped one of three girls who were coming toward him and stabbed her in the abdomen.
Bystanders immediately called an ambulance. The injured girl was taken to the hospital, where she received medical assistance and her life was saved. After the incident, Y.B., who was detained, stated during the investigation that he did not know D.B.
“I left my house and said I need to stab someone,” Y.B. said.
After that, he stabbed the girl he came across on the road. A criminal court remanded him in custody on the charge of “attempted intentional murder”.
