A man who did not sleep for eight days was admitted to a psychiatric hospital

A man from London, after working for eight days and nights without even blinking, fell into an acute psychotic state and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
According to Tommy Graves, who is now 32, the frightening incident happened two years ago. At that time, he was busy with a fundraising project for a charity organization that helps homeless people, became overly absorbed in the project, and almost completely forgot to rest.
Eventually, Graves’s family was forced to send him to the hospital after he could no longer control himself. At that moment he was in an extremely severe mental state and did not fully understand either where he was or what he was doing. He even felt as if he were standing in a TV studio surrounded by cameras and, hoping to receive an “Oscar,” sang in front of the staff, danced, and performed various complicated tricks.
After receiving treatment in the hospital for one month, Tommy was discharged home. Over the next two years, with the help of specialists, he learned the rules of maintaining a proper sleep schedule, and now he strictly follows his daily routine, especially his sleep time.
