A shocking incident occurred in St. Petersburg, Russia. An ordinary day, an ordinary courtyard: a janitor sweeping the yard in front of a multi-story building instantly became a real hero.
Reportedly, a child playing with a tablet on an open window sill in an apartment on the 7th floor slipped involuntarily. The child, on the verge of falling, got caught on the cornice and tried to grab it with his hands. At that moment, a man cleaning the yard below looks up and immediately understands the situation.
He didn't think long: in an instant, he ran to the spot where the boy could have gotten off. Sometimes it's said that a few seconds decide the fate of an entire person. That's exactly what happened: after the boy hung on the cornice for a while, his hands still loosened and he fell down. But the janitor caught him in the air. At that moment, she saved the boy's life.
The child's mother was in the kitchen at the time. She says her son lives with autism. Sometimes such children may not fully feel the danger, become absorbed in something, and fail to notice the surrounding danger. Therefore, this incident serves as a strong cautionary lesson for parents as well.
According to the latest information, the child was hospitalized. His leg and internal organs are reportedly injured. The man who saved his life didn't get away easily either: his hands and ribs were broken.
According to the report, the male protagonist is from Uzbekistan, 36 years old. He works for a contractor responsible for one of the apartment buildings in St. Petersburg. That is, he is a person who works simply every day, sincerely performing work that most people don't pay attention to. But it is precisely such people who can instantly put the heart of the whole courtyard, the whole community in its place.
