Uzbekistan called on Pakistan and Afghanistan to cease fire, the situation on the border is alarming

Uzbekistan has issued an official statement regarding the clashes between Pakistani and Afghan forces. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement noted that the escalating situation in the border area is causing serious concern.
"We call on the parties to immediately cease fire, exercise restraint, and refrain from actions that could further escalate tensions," the statement said.
Uzbekistan also emphasizes that all disagreements should be resolved only through peaceful means, through political and diplomatic dialogue. The statement emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and mutual respect of states.
Earlier, it was reported that Pakistani troops launched airstrikes on military facilities in Kabul and Kandahar, Afghanistan. "The Taliban" movement stated that it had struck Pakistani military installations in response to these actions. Both sides are disseminating information about the losses.
