Against the backdrop of the Iran conflict, the demand for manure in India has sharply increased

The gas shortage caused by the tense situation around Iran has created an unusual situation in India. Against the backdrop of interruptions in energy supply, the demand for alternative fuel sources in the country is sharply increasing.
In particular, it is noted that the demand for cattle manure in India has increased significantly. This indicates that the population is turning to traditional and affordable energy sources.
According to reports, the slowdown or, in some cases, stoppage of cargo ships through the Strait of Hormuz is seriously affecting global energy supply. This, in turn, leads to an increase in gas and oil prices.
India imports about 50% of its liquefied natural gas through this strategic route. Therefore, any instability in the region directly affects the country's energy security.
According to experts, in such conditions, the growing demand for alternative energy sources is a natural phenomenon. Cattle manure is an important raw material for biogas production, which is widely used in rural areas.
