The Chinese diplomatic mission in the US called the information circulating about the supply of air defense systems to Iran unfounded. This was commented on by CNN.
Earlier, CNN, citing sources, reported that China is preparing to supply Iran with mobile air defense systems through third countries. It states that these devices could pose a serious threat to low-altitude aircraft.
However, Liu Pengyu categorically rejected these claims. He emphasized that China has never supplied weapons to either side in conflicts.
"China has never supplied weapons to the parties involved in the conflicts," the diplomat stated in a comment to TASS.
