U.S.-Iran negotiations are expected to take place next week

Sources in Pakistan's security services told Al Jazeera that negotiations between the US and Iran are likely to take place by next Friday.
The main reason for this is that two US C-17 Globemasters landed at the Rawalpindi airbase near Islamabad.
Additionally, roads leading to Islamabad's "red zone" have been temporarily closed due to increased security measures.
The fact that guests were evicted from the city's major Serena and Marriott hotels and that new reservations were suspended until Friday also indicates that preparations for the high-level meeting are underway.
