US President Donald Trump made a sharp and pointed statement about partner countries in the Middle East. He noted that some allies in the region are more reliable and close partners for the United States than NATO.
Trump, in particular, called the United Arab Emirates an "amazing ally" and touched upon the recent geopolitical situation. According to him, the prevailing view was that Iran would conduct military actions only against Israel. However, subsequent events refuted these assumptions.
The President emphasized that the missiles launched by Iran were aimed not only at Israel but also at the territory of the UAE, posing a serious threat to the security balance in the region. Trump assessed this as a dangerous situation and stated that the US would never leave its allies alone.
"If possible, we are ready to provide them with financial and other necessary assistance," he said. At the same time, he described the Gulf states and Israel as the closest partners of the United States, noting that relations with them are of strategic importance.
