Trump: "Starmer's policies are leading Britain to crisis"

US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized the policies pursued by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Sky News reports.
It is reported that while speaking with journalists at the White House before his flight to China, Trump stated that the decisions being made by the British government could lead the country into a "dead end."
In his view, despite having large oil reserves in the North Sea, the UK is not utilizing them fully. Trump called on the government to reconsider its energy policy and said it is necessary to expand oil production.
"Britain has one of the largest oil resources in the world. But instead of taking advantage of this opportunity, they are focusing too much on wind energy, which is harming their economy," he said.
At the same time, Trump also touched upon the issue of migration. He noted that, like other European countries, Britain is suffering significantly from the flow of illegal migration. Therefore, he recommended that the government strengthen border control and tighten migration policy.
Responding to a question from journalists about the Prime Minister's potential resignation, Trump said that this decision is Starmer's personal choice. However, he added that he had previously warned the British leader that the consequences of his missteps in the energy sector could be severe.
