A unique refrigerator for humans has been created in Japan

In Japan, a unique device designed to cool people down in a short time, Do Hiemon Box , has been developed. Japan Today reports that this cabin, which resembles a refrigerator, is intended for only one person and was created by the company SDRS .
The temperature inside the device is maintained at 15 degrees Celsius. When sitting in the seat, air cooled to approximately 5 degrees is directed toward the head, neck, and shoulders. The company states that within five minutes, a person feels significantly cooler, and within 10 minutes, body temperature drops, alleviating symptoms of heat exhaustion.
Do Hiemon Box is specifically designed for those working at construction sites, factories, warehouses, and outdoors. It has three airflow and cooling modes. To prevent overcooling, the device automatically shuts off after 20 minutes. It is also equipped with wheels, making it easy to move from one place to another. The device runs on electricity and consumes about half the energy of a portable air conditioner.
Currently, Do Hiemon Box is available for sale in Japan through industrial equipment distributors. Its standard model is priced at 1.5 million yen (approximately $9,200).
This invention was introduced against the backdrop of anomalous heat observed in Japan. In the country, the term «kokushobi» ("cruel hot day") is used for days reaching 40 degrees, and «moshobi» ("extreme hot day") for days with temperatures above 35 degrees. On July 21, «moshobi» was recorded at nearly 300 out of 914 observation points, and in Tokyo, men were advised to wear shorts to work.
