BYD Yangwang U9 became the fastest electric car in the world

BYD company announced that the Yangwang U9 electric supercar has set a world record at a speed of 472.41 km/h, according to the Kursiv media website.
In November of last year, the record was 391.94 km/h. The new result was 20.5% higher, placing the car among the world's supercars.
For comparison:
- SSC Tuatara - 474.8 km/h
- Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ - 490 km/h
- Koenigsegg Jesko Absolute - 531 km/h
The Yangwang U9 costs 1.68 million yuan (≈232 thousand dollars), which is significantly cheaper than foreign hypercars. In the first year, the company sold 149 cars and surpassed the top 100.
