In January-August 2025, the volume of maintenance of motor vehicles in Uzbekistan amounted to 10.9 trillion soums. This indicator increased by 10.1% compared to the same period last year. The National Statistical Committee officially confirmed this information.
By region, the largest expenditure was in the city of Tashkent, where 2 trillion soums were spent. Samarkand region spent 1.2 trillion soums, Fergana region - 1.1 trillion soums, and Namangan region - 1 trillion soums. The Republic of Karakalpakstan followed with 886.9 billion soums, and Kashkadarya region showed high activity, spending 860.5 billion soums.
Tashkent region spent 777.9 billion soums, Andijan region - 717 billion soums, Bukhara - 582 billion soums, and Khorezm - 594.9 billion soums. Syrdarya, Jizzakh, Navoi, and Surkhandarya regions also allocated funds for repairs, with the lowest expenditure in Surkhandarya amounting to 102.1 billion soums.
