Uzbekistan plans to gradually install alarm buttons on route buses and ambulances. This is stipulated in the Presidential Decree "On Measures for the Effective Organization of the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies in the Field of Security."
According to the decree, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Health, will introduce a security service in buses and ambulances to ensure public safety and protect medical personnel.
From January 1, 2026, modern technical means with facial recognition technology will be gradually installed at the entry and exit points of protected banks, large enterprises, local khokimiyats, and other important facilities. They will be integrated with the "Safe City" system.
Any alarm signal from a protected facility or apartment is simultaneously sent to the unified operational center of the internal affairs bodies, to prevention inspectors, and to the tablets of patrol officers.
Starting from 2026, objects under technical protection will be categorized, and a differentiated payment system will be introduced for them.
According to the document, the Ministry of Internal Affairs also plans to equip critical facilities with anti-drone devices and drones by the end of 2026.
Also, by March 1, 2026, the "E-Qo'riqlash" electronic platform will be launched. Within the framework of the "Safe Education" concept, state and non-state educational institutions, including branches of foreign educational institutions, will be equipped with security alarms, alarm buttons, and video surveillance.
