Sales of new electric vehicles in the country increased significantly over the past year: sales increased by 35% and amounted to 40.7 thousand units. This was reported by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms.
According to the regional analysis, the main activity in this segment is concentrated around the city of Tashkent. 29,000 new electric vehicles were sold in the capital, which is 71% of the total.
Samarkand region, Tashkent region, and Kashkadarya region were named as the next regions with the highest results. These figures show that interest in electric vehicles is growing year by year, especially rapidly in large cities and economically active regions.
