New version of Foton Tunland V7 pickup truck released

Sales of the new "Prestige" trim level for the Foton Tunland V7 pickup have started in Russia. The main innovation is the replacement of the traditional leaf spring rear suspension with a coil spring setup. This change focuses on improving ride comfort and smoothing out road imperfections for daily use rather than maximizing payload capacity. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .

Technically, the vehicle remains unchanged. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine producing 159 hp and 410 Nm of torque. Additionally, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system provides an extra 60 Nm of torque, helping to save 5–8% in fuel consumption. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic.

The pickup is equipped with an automatic all-wheel-drive system and front and rear axle differential locks, maintaining its off-road capability. The price for the "Prestige" version starts at 5,550,000 rubles, and it can be purchased for 5,150,000 rubles under special programs.

In terms of safety and comfort, the model is enriched with six airbags, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and lane-keeping systems. The vehicle is also equipped with a 120-degree front camera, a surround-view system, blind-spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition functions.
