The "Russo-Balt" brand has announced which famous models its new C55 crossover will compete with. According to a company representative, the Lexus LX 570, BMW X6, Porsche Cayenne, and Mercedes-Benz GLS are the main competitors for this model in terms of size and price. The new crossover is expected to be technically very powerful. The vehicle will be equipped with two electric motors producing 550 hp and an all-wheel-drive system. The most interesting aspect is that the body panels will be made of stainless steel, ensuring the vehicle's longevity.
The total weight of the C55 model will not exceed 3.5 tons, meaning a Category B driver's license is sufficient to operate it. The vehicle's equipment is also high-end: a panoramic roof, 20-inch alloy wheels, leather seats with heating and ventilation, and a 15-inch touchscreen display are among the features.
The company plans to offer a top version with four electric motors producing 1000 hp, an air suspension system, and even a gasoline range extender. As of April this year, the price of this vehicle was 8 million rubles.
