Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva held an official meeting with Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky in the Russian capital Moscow. During the meeting, the current state of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries and its development prospects were discussed.

As Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel, joint initiatives in the fields of culture, education, preservation of historical heritage, and scientific and creative exchange were particularly recognized during the meeting. In particular, the organization of an exhibition of Uzbek art at the New Jerusalem Museum in the Moscow Region, as well as the holding of the Days of Russian Culture on the territory of Uzbekistan, were noted as practical manifestations of friendship and mutual trust between the two peoples.

It is emphasized that the exhibition "Light Between Worlds", which will start on May 30 at the New Jerusalem Museum, is expected to mark a new stage in the cultural cooperation of the two countries. This is the first project of its kind on a long-term international scale, formed in violation of the rules of the Soviet-era museum, which brings together unique collections.

The exhibition will feature more than 160 works from the collections of the Yangi Quddus Museum and the Igor Savitsky State Art Museum of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Among them, unique paintings and graphic works by such famous artists as Alexander Volkov, Solomon Nikritin, Alexander Shevchenko and Kliment Redko stand out.

Saida Mirziyoyeva described this exhibition as “a bright symbol of cooperation that strengthens the bonds of friendship between the two peoples.” According to her, such cultural exchanges not only strengthen mutual respect, but also serve to enrich the spiritual and aesthetic outlook of the younger generation.
The Zamin.uz editorial office highly appreciates the role and importance of this project in international cultural dialogue and believes that such initiatives will be a source of inspiration for many creative people and art lovers. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
