Hollywood star Selena Gomez openly spoke to journalists about her upcoming wedding with famous producer Benny Blanco. According to her, they are planning to celebrate this important day as sincerely and simply as possible, reported Peopletalk.
In an interview with Rare Beauty, Gomez emphasized that she does not want a traditional large wedding cake. According to her, she and Blanco only want a specially prepared small and refined dessert for themselves.
"I think it’s better to make a separate mini-dessert for us. We can freeze it later," said Selena.
After the first wedding details leaked online, the couple became concerned about the safety of their guests and their personal privacy. Therefore, the wedding ceremony will have significantly increased security measures. This is to prevent noise or unexpected situations caused by outsiders.
Benny Blanco earlier stated that they didn’t start planning the wedding right away. The reason — both were very busy.
“We got engaged, filmed music videos, then came the holidays, and after that, the album promo campaign began. Selena went off to shoot her series, then we relaxed for a week, and right after that, work started again. I began writing a new book,” said the producer.
The relationship between Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco became known to the public at the end of 2023. Interestingly, it was Selena who first confessed her love. Since January 2024, the couple has been appearing in public together.
It’s worth noting that their acquaintance dates back to 2021 — at that time, they worked together on the song I Can’t Get Enough. Moreover, Blanco is a close friend of Justin Bieber, Selena’s ex.
