Singer Sevinch Muminova, in an interview with Mirsadikova, openly and firmly shared her views on the family, the role of a man within it, and what determines the respect shown to a daughter-in-law in a household.
According to the artist, the man is the pillar and backbone of the family — the one who holds the family together. A man must feel responsibility within his family and be able to explain his position to his mother and other family members.
“If a man respects and values his wife, mothers will treat the daughter-in-law in the same way. Because a daughter-in-law’s place in the household directly depends on the son himself,” the singer says.
Continuing her thoughts more sharply, Sevinch Muminova added:
“If in a household the daughter-in-law is not valued even a little, it means that the son’s worth is just as low. His word, his position, and his respect are all zero. When a man shows his manhood, takes his rightful place, and remains a true son to his mother, only then will his words carry weight. And that is when respect for the daughter-in-law appears as well.”
The singer’s remarks sparked widespread discussion on social media.
