Jim Carrey receives the honorary "Caesar" award of France

American actor Jim Carrey was awarded the French National Film Award - the honorary "Caesar." The award was presented to him by director Michel Gondry, with whom he worked on the film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
It was reported that Kerry expressed her gratitude in French. According to him, his great-grandfather, Marc-François Kerry, moved from the French port of Saint-Malo to Canada, while he himself later headed to Los Angeles.
"The most funny person I've ever known is my father Percy, thanks to Joseph Kerry. He taught me to appreciate love, generosity, and laughter. If you want luck to smile at you, smile at it first yourself. It's not easy, but you need to make an effort. I will remember this moment forever. I always smile at him. My life is paradise," said the actor.
Previously, the honorary "Caesar" award was presented to representatives of cinema such as Julia Roberts, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Kate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Penelope Cruz, and George Clooney.
