The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced new foreign exchange rates effective April 15, 2026, showing an increase in the value of all major currencies against the soum. Other currencies, including the Russian ruble, Swiss franc, Chinese yuan, and Japanese yen, also experienced gains. These updated rates will serve as the official basis for all banking operations and settlements.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies effective from April 15, 2026. According to the latest update, all major foreign currencies have increased in value relative to the Uzbek sum.

The US Dollar exchange rate rose by 15,28 UZS, reaching 12 141,38 UZS. The Euro saw a significant increase of 141,7 UZS, bringing the rate to 14 313,47 UZS. Additionally, the British Pound Sterling climbed by 157,72 UZS, settling at 16 443,07 UZS.

In other currency movements, the Russian Ruble increased by 1,15 UZS to 160,26 UZS. The Swiss Franc reached 15 551,91 UZS (+212,13), the Chinese Yuan stood at 1 781,18 UZS (+6,05), and the Japanese Yen was recorded at 76,37 UZS (+0,46). These official rates are mandatory for accounting and customs payments throughout the country.
